Victorina D. Palanas, Head Teacher III of Mathematics Department of Eduardo Barretto Sr. National High School (EBSNHS) promoted as Senior Educational Program Specialist for Planning and Research of Division of San Pedro City, Sept. 1.
Palanas serves at EBSNHS for 11 years. She is the School Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (SMEA) Coordinator, Research Coordinator and School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Coordinator of the school. She won Outstanding Teacher of cluster 5 and 4th placer during the Gawad Calambayani 2018. She won Outstanding Researcher of cluster 5 and finalist during the Gawad Calambayani 2021. She is also a Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) grantee year 2016 for 2nd cycle, 2019 for 4th cycle batch 2 and 2020 for 5th cycle. Palanas is the President of Calamba City Researchers Association (CCRA). She was awarded as Best Paper in Teaching and Learning Mathematics during the 5th Division Research Conference of SDO Calamba. She provided technical assistance to her colleagues when it comes to conducting a research via SLAC and meetings.

Babaunin ko po ang mga kaalaman, aral at masasayang alaala na pinanday sa BARRETTO saan man ako makarating. Palanas Head Teacher III, Mathematics Now signing OFF.” This was the last message of Mrs. Palanas to her colleagues before she left the group chat of Eduardo Barretto Sr. Faculty and staff.
